Philosophy
Laura thrives in the jumper ring both as rider, trainer, and coach. Laura is also very capable of coaching young adults in the jumper medals. Laura is driven to find the path to joy in the saddle for all of her clients whatever their personal goals may be. Regardless of their path, Laura instills in all her clients a desire to always learn and be the best they can be for their horse each and every ride.
Legacy
Laura was raised in a family of equine professionals; her mother was a reining trainer and father a well respected farrier. Today her brother is an upper level course designer and sister-in-law a horse show manager.
As close to family - Laura worked closely under Eddie Macken both as rider and upper level groom.
Laura carries all of this knowledge in her tool box every day at the barn.
Laura’s Team
A rare find in today’s competitive equestrian programs, Laura‘s requires a high level of commitment. At shows, it is a team approach to work together with fellow riders to get to the ring. So too at home, each rider in Laura’s program has a key role to play.
