We work as a team here much like your cooperative Doctor's office practice. We communicate together and collaborate to ensure your riding lessons are as fulfilling as possible and get our riders' on their way to their goals.
We recommend that all riders work with at least 2 instructors routinely. To see more about the instructors please see the "FF Team" Page. On our booking platform you can also see a short version of each of the instructor's specialties.
We teach all ages from 4 up. All disciplines welcome. All abilities welcome.
Did you know that the largest growing demographic in the equestrian sports are women over 50? It's true! And about 1/2 of our students represent this age group so you will be in good company if this is a new pastime for you in your middle years.
The rest of our clients vary across the younger demographics with a good number between 8 & 18.
Have your own horse? No problem - no haul in fee or board with us!
Want to shop for a horse - No problem we'll hunt one down and we charge NO commission we know you'll want to stay in our barn and that is our business.
For the safety of our horses we do limit riders to a maximum of 200# but don't worry we do have driving lessons, trick training, and obstacle handling for our equestrians over this rider weight limit.
If you want to follow the traditional performance disciplines we've got you covered from dressage to hunters to 3-day eventing. If you want to ride endurance or competitive trail - we have you there too! What about driving, trick training, yes and yes! We do it all and have fun doing it!
All beginner and novice riders are taught in a private lesson format no exceptions. Once riders are independent at walk and trot and starting to canter we can entertain a group lesson. Our horses are selected for temperament first and foremost. We expect our horses to come out and be well behaved without needing a lot of "preparation" time - read getting worked down or worked a lot.
All of our instructors are certified or meet criteria with a valid Standard First Aid Cert and Criminal Record Check.
